A safe and effective collagen stimulating treatment to restore volume and improve cellulite
Lanluma is a collagen-stimulating injectable made from Poly-L-lactic-acid (PLLA). It works by activating your own natural collagen deep within your skin to create volume. This is a process that takes place over a number of months and is a much safer option than the risky BBL procedure which can often result in stretch marks.
You will first of all require a consultation to see if you are an appropriate candidate for treatment with Lanluma. The Lanluma is then mixed up with local anaesthetic to ensure a virtually painless procedure before it is injected via a cannula into the correct tissue plane. After the procedure, a vigorous massage will be performed which you are to continue at home for 2 weeks after treatment.
After treatment you may feel a bit tender and some simple painkillers are fine to take. Over the next 3-9 months you will see a gradual build-up of natural collagen in the treated area which will appear as better texture to the skin, improved cellulite and an increase in volume. Because the treatment stimulates the body’s own natural collagen, the results look completely natural.
